Our Custom PC Building service is designed for customers who want a computer built to match their exact needs, whether it’s for high-end gaming, creative design work, video editing, software development, or powerful everyday use. We work with you to determine your requirements, budget, and preferences, then source and assemble the perfect combination of components. All builds are completed by qualified technicians, thoroughly tested for stability, and optimised for performance. What’s Included: - Consultation: Assess your performance needs, budget, and preferred style (gaming, professional, compact, etc.). - Component Selection: Recommend the best parts for your requirements — CPU, GPU, RAM, storage, cooling, case, and more. - Sourcing Parts: Order components from trusted suppliers with full warranties. - Assembly & Cable Management: Professionally build and organise internal components for optimal airflow and aesthetics. - System Testing: Stress test for performance, stability, and temperature control. - OS & Software Setup: Install and configure the operating system and essential drivers. - Aftercare Advice: Guidance on maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting. Pricing: - On-Site Call-Out & Consultation: £20 (50% waived if you proceed with the build). - Labour Cost: From £250 for full assembly, OS installation, and testing. - Parts: Priced separately depending on chosen components. - Urgent Builds: +£60 surcharge (subject to availability).
Cancellation Policy
TechSerks On-Site Repairs Booking Policy 1. Booking Confirmation & Modifications: Once your booking is confirmed via our online system, you may modify or cancel your appointment up to 24 hours before the scheduled date and time at no additional charge. Modifications can include changing the service type, rescheduling the appointment, or updating your contact details. 2. Cancellations Within 24 Hours: If you cancel your booking less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment, a £20 call-out charge will apply. This fee covers technician scheduling, travel, and allocated time. 3. Access to Property: Please inform us in advance of any access restrictions to your property. This includes: - Availability of parking or the need for a visitor permit - Building or gate access codes - Security procedures or restricted entry areas Failure to notify us may cause delays or, in some cases, require a rescheduled visit. 4. Labour Warranty: We provide a 90-day labour warranty on the specific repair we carried out. If the same fault reoccurs within this period, we will return to fix it at no labour charge. If the fault is unrelated to the original repair, our standard labour rates will apply. 5. Parts Warranty: All replacement parts are sourced from trusted third-party suppliers. Manufacturer warranties apply to these components and vary depending on the product. We will provide warranty information for all installed parts. 6. Insurance Coverage: TechSerks is fully covered by Business Insurance, including Public Liability Insurance, for your peace of mind. 7. No Fix, No Fee: If we are unable to resolve the issue you booked us for and no work is carried out, you will only be charged the £20 call-out fee (unless within the 90-day warranty period). 8. Urgent Same-Day Service: - Urgent same-day appointments are subject to technician availability and will incur an additional £20 surcharge. 9. Payment Terms: Payment is due upon completion of the service. We accept cash, bank transfer, and card payments on-site. For on-site services, cash payments are accepted on the day of repair.
