Our Desktop PC Repair service is designed to restore your computer to full working order quickly and efficiently. Whether it’s a sudden crash, persistent slowdowns, or hardware failure, our certified technicians provide on-site diagnostics and repairs for home users across London, Essex, and Kent. We use advanced diagnostic tools to pinpoint the root cause, whether it’s a faulty component, corrupted software, or a combination of both. Once identified, we provide a clear explanation of the issue, how it can be fixed, and the full cost before starting any work. What’s Included: - On-Site Diagnosis: Comprehensive inspection of your desktop PC to identify hardware and software problems. - Hardware Repairs & Replacement: Power supplies, motherboards, hard drives/SSDs, RAM, fans, and more replaced with high-quality, manufacturer-approved parts. - Software Repairs: Operating system troubleshooting, application fixes, and malware removal. - Performance Optimisation: Cleaning up unnecessary files, updating software, and fine-tuning for speed and stability. - Data Protection: Safe handling of your files with optional data backup before major repairs. - Transparent Advice: If a repair isn’t cost-effective, we’ll let you know so you can decide whether to repair or replace. - Warranty: All repairs come with a 90-day guarantee for both parts and labour. Pricing: - On-Site Call-Out & Diagnosis: £20 (50% waived if you proceed with the repair). - Labour Cost: £80 for the first hour, then £20 per additional 15 minutes. - Parts: Priced separately depending on the component. - Urgent Same-Day Service: +£20 surcharge (subject to availability).


Cancellation Policy

TechSerks On-Site Repairs Booking Policy 1. Booking Confirmation & Modifications: Once your booking is confirmed via our online system, you may modify or cancel your appointment up to 24 hours before the scheduled date and time at no additional charge. Modifications can include changing the service type, rescheduling the appointment, or updating your contact details. 2. Cancellations Within 24 Hours: If you cancel your booking less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment, a £20 call-out charge will apply. This fee covers technician scheduling, travel, and allocated time. 3. Access to Property: Please inform us in advance of any access restrictions to your property. This includes: - Availability of parking or the need for a visitor permit - Building or gate access codes - Security procedures or restricted entry areas Failure to notify us may cause delays or, in some cases, require a rescheduled visit. 4. Labour Warranty: We provide a 90-day labour warranty on the specific repair we carried out. If the same fault reoccurs within this period, we will return to fix it at no labour charge. If the fault is unrelated to the original repair, our standard labour rates will apply. 5. Parts Warranty: All replacement parts are sourced from trusted third-party suppliers. Manufacturer warranties apply to these components and vary depending on the product. We will provide warranty information for all installed parts. 6. Insurance Coverage: TechSerks is fully covered by Business Insurance, including Public Liability Insurance, for your peace of mind. 7. No Fix, No Fee: If we are unable to resolve the issue you booked us for and no work is carried out, you will only be charged the £20 call-out fee (unless within the 90-day warranty period). 8. Urgent Same-Day Service: - Urgent same-day appointments are subject to technician availability and will incur an additional £20 surcharge. 9. Payment Terms: Payment is due upon completion of the service. We accept cash, bank transfer, and card payments on-site. For on-site services, cash payments are accepted on the day of repair.
