Service Description

Our Printer & Peripheral Setup service ensures your devices are installed, configured, and working perfectly with your computer or home network. Whether you’ve just purchased a new printer, scanner, webcam, or other accessory, or you’re having trouble getting an existing device to work, our certified technicians will get everything set up quickly and efficiently. ​We handle driver installation, network configuration, and device testing, so you can start using your equipment immediately. For wireless devices, we also ensure they are securely connected to your network and accessible from all the necessary devices in your home. What’s Included: - Printer Installation: Set up inkjet, laser, or multifunction printers. - Peripheral Setup: Install and configure scanners, webcams, external drives, speakers, monitors, and more. - Driver Installation: Ensure the correct software is installed for seamless operation. - Network & Wireless Configuration: Connect devices securely to your Wi-Fi or home network. - Multi-Device Sharing: Configure printers and other peripherals to be accessible from multiple devices. - Testing & Verification: Ensure everything works as intended before completion. Pricing: - On-Site Call-Out & Diagnosis: £20 (50% waived if you proceed with the repair). - Labour Cost: £70 for the first hour, then £20 per additional 15 minutes. - Parts: Priced separately if any additional cables, adapters, or hardware are required. - Urgent Same-Day Service: +£20 surcharge (subject to availability).


Cancellation Policy

TechSerks On-Site Repairs Booking Policy 1. Booking Confirmation & Modifications: Once your booking is confirmed via our online system, you may modify or cancel your appointment up to 24 hours before the scheduled date and time at no additional charge. Modifications can include changing the service type, rescheduling the appointment, or updating your contact details. 2. Cancellations Within 24 Hours: If you cancel your booking less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment, a £20 call-out charge will apply. This fee covers technician scheduling, travel, and allocated time. 3. Access to Property: Please inform us in advance of any access restrictions to your property. This includes: - Availability of parking or the need for a visitor permit - Building or gate access codes - Security procedures or restricted entry areas Failure to notify us may cause delays or, in some cases, require a rescheduled visit. 4. Labour Warranty: We provide a 90-day labour warranty on the specific repair we carried out. If the same fault reoccurs within this period, we will return to fix it at no labour charge. If the fault is unrelated to the original repair, our standard labour rates will apply. 5. Parts Warranty: All replacement parts are sourced from trusted third-party suppliers. Manufacturer warranties apply to these components and vary depending on the product. We will provide warranty information for all installed parts. 6. Insurance Coverage: TechSerks is fully covered by Business Insurance, including Public Liability Insurance, for your peace of mind. 7. No Fix, No Fee: If we are unable to resolve the issue you booked us for and no work is carried out, you will only be charged the £20 call-out fee (unless within the 90-day warranty period). 8. Urgent Same-Day Service: - Urgent same-day appointments are subject to technician availability and will incur an additional £20 surcharge. 9. Payment Terms: Payment is due upon completion of the service. We accept cash, bank transfer, and card payments on-site. For on-site services, cash payments are accepted on the day of repair.
