Our Application Installation & Support service ensures your software is installed correctly, fully configured, and optimised for your computer. We handle everything from everyday essentials like Microsoft Office and antivirus programs to specialist applications for work, gaming, design, or productivity. ​Whether you’re installing software on a new computer, upgrading to a newer version, or transferring applications from another device, our certified technicians make the process smooth and hassle-free. We ensure compatibility, apply all necessary updates, and configure settings to suit your needs. We can also provide basic usage guidance so you get the most out of your applications. If a program is causing crashes or performance issues, we can troubleshoot, repair, or reinstall it so it runs reliably. What’s Included: - Installation & Setup: Single or multiple applications installed and configured for optimal performance. - Compatibility Checks: Ensure the software works seamlessly with your operating system and hardware. - Updates & Patches: Install the latest security and performance updates. - Configuration: Customise settings for your preferences and workflow. - Basic User Guidance: Optional step-by-step tips to help you get started. - Troubleshooting & Repair: Resolve crashes, error messages, and conflicts between programs. Pricing: - On-Site Call-Out & Diagnosis: £20 (50% waived if you proceed with the repair). - Labour Cost: £90 for the first hour, then £20 per additional 15 minutes. - Parts: Not applicable unless additional hardware is required for installation. - Urgent Same-Day Service: +£20 surcharge (subject to availability).


Cancellation Policy

TechSerks On-Site Repairs Booking Policy 1. Booking Confirmation & Modifications: Once your booking is confirmed via our online system, you may modify or cancel your appointment up to 24 hours before the scheduled date and time at no additional charge. Modifications can include changing the service type, rescheduling the appointment, or updating your contact details. 2. Cancellations Within 24 Hours: If you cancel your booking less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment, a £20 call-out charge will apply. This fee covers technician scheduling, travel, and allocated time. 3. Access to Property: Please inform us in advance of any access restrictions to your property. This includes: - Availability of parking or the need for a visitor permit - Building or gate access codes - Security procedures or restricted entry areas Failure to notify us may cause delays or, in some cases, require a rescheduled visit. 4. Labour Warranty: We provide a 90-day labour warranty on the specific repair we carried out. If the same fault reoccurs within this period, we will return to fix it at no labour charge. If the fault is unrelated to the original repair, our standard labour rates will apply. 5. Parts Warranty: All replacement parts are sourced from trusted third-party suppliers. Manufacturer warranties apply to these components and vary depending on the product. We will provide warranty information for all installed parts. 6. Insurance Coverage: TechSerks is fully covered by Business Insurance, including Public Liability Insurance, for your peace of mind. 7. No Fix, No Fee: If we are unable to resolve the issue you booked us for and no work is carried out, you will only be charged the £20 call-out fee (unless within the 90-day warranty period). 8. Urgent Same-Day Service: - Urgent same-day appointments are subject to technician availability and will incur an additional £20 surcharge. 9. Payment Terms: Payment is due upon completion of the service. We accept cash, bank transfer, and card payments on-site. For on-site services, cash payments are accepted on the day of repair.
